Penultimate round of Summer Showjumping League at Deane’s, Bruckless

SEE OUR GALLERY OF PICTURES

The penultimate round of the Summer Showjumping League took place last Sunday at Deane’s Equestrian Centre and all riders have their eyes on the Champion Rider ‘Alan Deane Memorial Cup’ and a share of the €1000 prize fund. The clear rounds were hard earned today as all the riders tried to add to their total score for the competition.

Well done to Sinead Murray on George in the Starter Stakes as she took on the course by herself. Dominika Czibla on Charlie and Dean Burgess on Truffles were also clear.

As we head to the final of the Summer League there are a total of 5 riders in contention for the Champion Rider trophy, And they are Hollie Bradley on Tilly, Dominika Czibla on Meenarillagh, Clodagh Brady on Sprite, Marie Molloy on Melody and Rebecca Morrow on Lincoln all riders on a total of 40 points over the 5 weeks to date.

So the pressure will definitely be on next weekend as they all compete to take home the trophy.

Many thanks to all our helpers and Judge Alax Deane on the day. The Summer League concludes with the Final on the 19th of August. The same Horse and Rider combination must compete in the 3 of the first 5 Sundays to be eligible for the prizes on the Final Day. All horse and riders welcome to compete. For further details check Facebook Deanes Farm or contact Alax on 074 9737160.
