The death has occurred of Danny Boyle, Meenagowan, Lettermacaward, F94 F8C3.

Reposing at his residence, Friday, September 15 from 12noon with Rosary at 8pm.

Funeral Masson Saturday, September 16th at 1pm in St Brigid’s Church, Lettermacaward with interment afterwards in the new cemetery.

House private on the morning of the Funeral please.

Anna Farren, Shroove
  
The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Anna Farren, Upper Carrowtrasna, Shroove.

Reposing at her home.

Family time from 10pm to 12noon and on the morning of the Funeral.

Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday afternoon, September 17 at 2pm in St Mary’s Church, Ballybrack followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Paddy Doherty, Buncrana


The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Paddy Doherty, Rockytown, Buncrana and formerly of 16 St Columba’s Ave, Buncrana.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Breege, daughter’s Deirdre, Caroline and Trish, sons-in-law Liam and Eunan, grandchildren Olivia, Ben, Beth, Joseph and Lucy, brothers and sisters Neil, Angela, Willie and Bernie, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at his residence today, Friday 15th September and Saturday 16th September from 12 noon until 10 p.m.

House private on Sunday and Monday, and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Tuesday 19th September at 10.15 a.m. going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for 11 o’clock requiem mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Daniel Harkin, Woodquarter, Cranford

The peaceful death has taken place in Donegal Hospice of Daniel Harkin, Woodquarter, Cranford.

Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Carnamuggagh, Letterkenny, F92 XE35, Friday, September 15  at 3pm going to the residence of his daughter Catherine and John McCann, Kilmacrennan Road, Milford, F92 W3P0.

Funeral mass on Sunday, September 17, at 2pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coole, Cranford. Burial afterwards in Milford Cemetery.

Family time from 10pm until 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Donegal Hospice, c/o any family member.

Vincent Carron, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Vincent Carron, “Fatima”, Glencar, Letterkenny (F92 D7AC), predeceased by his wife Mary. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughters Geraldine McFadden (Falcarragh) and Fidelma (Letterkenny), sons Brendan (London) and Donal (Headford), son-in-law Danny, daughter-in-law Deborah, grandchildren great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his late residence from 12 noon on Friday, September 15 and Saturday, September 16 with Rosary at 9pm on both nights.

Funeral from there on Sunday, September 17 going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for 12 noon Mass which can be viewed online by using the following link https://www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny.

Interment afterwards in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery.

Ted Ponsonby, Glencar Scotch, Letterkenny


The death has occurred of Ted Ponsonby, Glencar Scotch, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by his parents Molly and Terry and brother Paul. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maryline Brument and cherished daughter Sarah, brothers Don and Terry, sisters Carmel and Anius, extended family, neighbours and friends. Maryline’s family Denise Brument (Mother), predeceased by Marius Brument (Father), sisters Sylvie Brument, Annie Brument, Jerome Fisset (brother-in-law) and Florence Brument,

Reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny (F92 XE35) from 2pm to 10pm on Sunday, September 17 where you are invited and most welcome to a celebration of Ted’s life.

Private Cremation on Monday, September 18 in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

The death has taken place at Altnagelvin Hospital of Patricia McCallion, Magherarnett, Carndonagh.

Pádraig (Padaí) Mac Fhearraigh, Benbradagh Gardens, Belfast and formerly of Donegal, died peacefully at hospital after a short illness .

Beloved partner of Bernie, father of Adrian, Cordelia, Donal and Máire, father-in-law of Sandy and Claudia, loving grandfather of Breandán, devoted brother of Anne, Paul, Briege and the late Brian and Margaret. 

Pádraig's remains will repose at Healy Brothers Chapel of Repose with viewing on Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm and Monday from 10am.

Pádraig will then leave on Monday at 1.30pm to arrive at St Mary's Chapel Lane for 2.30pm Requiem Mass continuing afterwards to Roselawn Crematorium for 5.20pm.

Paula Grady, Falcarragh

The death has occurred, peacefully at home,of Paula Grady, Killult, Falcarragh after a lengthy illness.

Deeply missed by her loving husband Patrick, her sons Steven and Marc, daughter-in-law Karolina, grandson Neasan, sister Siobhan, brothers Michael and Brian, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Paula's remains will be reposing at her home on Thursday from 11am to 11pm with Rosary at 9pm.

Joe McFadden, Gweedore

The death has occurred of Joe Mc Fadden, Curransport, Gweedore, F92 EV20

Predeceased by his wife Noreen, his parents Fanny and Niall, his brothers Hughie and Charlie; survived by his sons Pádraig, Seán and Joseph, daughters Fionnula and Máire, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sisters Mary and Grainne, brothers Neddie and Johnny, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his late residence with Rosary at 8pm. House private after Rosary until 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

Mary McGrath, Moville 

The death has taken place at Beach Hill Manor Private Nursing Home, Fahan of Mary McGrath, Moville.

Mary’s remains are resposing at her home.

Damien Blake, Ballybofey and Letterkenny

The death has occurred in the loving care of the Donegal Hospice of Damien Blake, Curraghamone, Ballybofey, F93 YW2K and formerly of The Maples, Letterkenny.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (née Gallagher), son Ríain, parents Laurence and Denise, brothers, mother-in-law Mary Gallagher and the extended Gallagher and Blake families, relatives, friends and neighbours.

His remains are reposing at his late residence from 12 noon to 10pm on Thursday with Rosary at 9pm. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

The death has occurred suddenly of Neal Herron, Drumlonagher, Donegal Town.

Predeceased by his wife, Kate, he is sadly missed by his sons, James and Kevin, his sister Eileen Mc Glone, grandchildren, Callum, Gracie and Tiernan, extended family and friends.

The death has occurred of Bernard Egan Snr, Bundoran, Boyle, Roscommon and Manchester. He passed away peacefully at his home in Manchester surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Lucy, (née Barry), Bundoran, and loving father of Bernard Jnr, Jackie, Bernice and Geraldine. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and all his many relatives, neighbours and friends.

His remains are reposing at Breslin's Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran, F94 E92F, on Thursday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, all welcome.

Removal from the Funeral Home on Friday at 10.40am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in St Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran. Bernard's Funeral Mass can be viewed live on www.magheneparish.ie

Philip McLaughlin (Barr), Manchester, England and formerly of Buncrana

The sudden death has occurred of Philip McLaughlin (Barr), Bury, Manchester, England formerly of Leophin, Linsfort, Buncrana.

Much loved Father of Tina, Janine and Philip, dearest brother of Rose, Helen and Brigid and the late John, Pauline and Mary.

Funeral to take place on Thursday, September 21 at St Bernadette’s Church, Whitefield.

Eoin Brosnan, Drimaghey, Bruckless

The death has occurred suddenly in Melbourne, Australia of Eoin Brosnan, Drimaghey, Bruckless.

Dearly beloved son of Dermot and Maria, brother to Aidan (Roscommon) and Emmett (Meenabrock). Also missed by his sisters-in-law Edel and Becky, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family request privacy at this difficult time.
