Ryan Doherty, Derry and Lifford

The death has taken place of Ryan Doherty, Beraghvale Close, Derry.

Beloved son of Brian Doherty and Geraldine O’Neill, née McKeever and stepson of the late John O’Neill. Much loved brother of Raymond (Laura) and Lynsey (Ryan). Darling daddy of Ryan and Rebecka, adored grandson of Molly McKeever and much loved uncle of Rachael. Ryan will be sadly missed by all his aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later.

Billy Moran, Greencastle, Derry and Manchester

The death has taken place of Billy Moran, Glenagiveny, Greencastle, and also of Derry City and Manchester.

Beloved husband of Sarah, cherished father of Robert, Joseph and Grace, dearest son of Marie and the late Johnny, (both of Derry), treasured brother of John, Neal and Michaela, dearly missed son-in-law, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin, uncle, friend and colleague.

Wake to be held from his family home in Manchester on Tuesday from 2pm to 10pm, all welcome.

Funeral service at 12 noon on Wednesday at Altrincham Crematorium, Whitehouse Lane, Dunham Massey, Altrincham, Cheshire WA14 5RH, and afterwards, all welcome.

Karl Bonner, Ballintra and Clare

The death has taken place suddenly at his residence, of Karl Bonner, Main Street, Ballintra, Donegal and formerly of Barefield and Tulla, County Clare.

Predeceased by his parents Willie and Winifred, he is sadly missed by his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Karl"s remains will arrive at St Bridget's Church, Ballintra at 4.30pm on Sunday, to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 9am followed by removal to Drumcliffe, Cemetery, Ennis, County Clare for burial at approximately 1.30pm. Funeral Mass may be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/ballintra

Joseph Carlin, Castlefin

The death has taken place peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, of Joseph (Shosie) Carline, Belalt, Castlefin, Donegal, F93 FW02.

Beloved husband of Peggy, much loved father of Mary, Joseph (Roisin) Anne (Mark), Maggie (Shane), Nuala, (Andy), and Conor (Orla), cherished brother of Brigid Garvey, and the late Willie, John, Michael, Mary and Annie.Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

His remains are reposing at his late residence on Sunday from 11am to 10pm. Family time from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Jimmy Ruddy Jr, Muff

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Jimmy Ruddy (Jr), Mitchelstown, Ture, Muff.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving brother Barney (Leeds), sister Sadie (Portnoo), extended family, friends and neighbours.

Removal from Murphy's Funeral Home (F93PW96) on Saturday at 4pm going to the residence of Stephen and Majella McConnellogue, Mitchelstown, Ture, Muff where you are welcome to pay your respects. Family time please 10pm to 11am.

Removal from there on Monday morning at 10.15am to Sacred Heart Church, Muff for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by interment in St Patrick's Graveyard, Iskaheen.

Dolores Devenney, Letterkenny and Laghey

The unexpected death has occurred of former Letterkenny University Hospital nurse Dolores Devenney, 28 Fernhill, Letterkenny and formerly of Laghey. 

Predeceased by her mother, Evelyn, and father, Bernard. Sadly missed by her sisters, Margaret (Bullen), Nuala (Lowther), Edel (McNeely), and her brothers Brian and Thomas, brothers-in-law John (Bullen)and Bernard (McNeely), her cousin Maura (Tunney), nieces Samantha (Lowther and family) and Rhiannon (McNeely).

Her remains will repose at Tir Connell funeral home, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, F94FX3A on Sunday afternoon from 1pmock to 4.15pm, followed by removal to St Brigid's Church, Ballintra for 5pm to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am followed by private cremation.

Leanne Browne, Ballybofey

The death has taken plac of Leanne Browne, née Hughes, of Curraghamone, Ballybofey, F93 AH76. She passed away peacefully after a long illness, bravely borne, at Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Ciaran, much loved mother of Jodie, Luke, (Nikita), Conor, and Ryan, dearly loved daughter of Josie and Fintan, cherished sister of Louise (Christopher), Jenny (Simon). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband, daughter, sons, father, mother, sisters, father-in-law Jim, mother-in-law Sally, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her home. The house is strictly private to family and close friends only please.

Funeral leaving from her home on Sunday at 10.15am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11am. Interment will take place afterwards in Drumboe cemetery. The Requiem Mass will be streamed live at https://www.churchservices.tv/stranorlar

John Burke, Letterkenny and Manorcunningham

The death has taken place of John Burke, 13 Glendale Drive, Glencar, Letterkenny and formerly from Manorcunningham.

Deeply missed by his son Kieran and his wife Trisha and grandson Dylan (Galway), John’s partner Heather and family Nichola, Charlene, Damien, Shauna, Seamus, John and Darren (Glendale Drive), brothers Bobby (Manorcunningham) and Tommy (Letterkenny), sisters Mary Doherty (Lisclamerty) and Ann Fisher (Dromore), nieces and nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

John’s remains will be reposing at The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny F92 XE35 on Saturday from 6.30pm until 8pm.

Interment on Sunday at approximately 11.30am at St Columba’s Church Cemetery, Drumoghill.

Joey Carr, Fanad

The death has taken place of Joseph (Joey) Carr, Oldtown, Ballywhoriskey, Fanad.

Predeceased by his parents Cecelia and Edward, he is sadly missed by his brother Eddie, nephews and nieces Edward, Cecilia, Margaret, Richard and families.

His remains are reposing at his late residence, Oldtown, Fanad, F92 AC90. 

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm in St Marys Church, Fanavolty with burial ceremony afterwards in the adjoining cemetery ,Rosary both nights at 9pm

Gracie McFadden, Falcarragh

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital, of Gracie (Gallagher) McFadden, Moyra, Falcarragh.

Predeceased by her daughter Marie, and parents Bridget and Daniel. She will be sadly missed by her husband Seamus, sons John (Winnie) and James (Maritta), grandchildren Gracemarie, Aidan, Orla and Shane, and great grandchild Alannah, sisters Sr Kathleen (Dublin), Ann (Malin), Rosie (Rathmullan), Bridget (Fermanagh), and brothers James (Derryreel), and Frank (Derryreel).

Her remains are reposing at her late residence F92 CH27, with Rosary at 9pm. 

Funeral Mass will take place at 11am on Sunday at Teach Phobail Naomh Fionán, Falcarragh Church F92 N6Y9, with burial after in the adjoining cemetery. Mass can be viewed live on www.mcn.live/Camera/falcarragh-parish-church or can be listened on ParishRadio@106.5FM

Maeve McGrory, Fahan

The death has occurred at Brooklands Health Care, Edenballymore Lodge of Maeve McGrory, née Coyle, 11 Church Brae, Fahan.

Predeceased by her husband Anselm and son James, she is deeply regretted and will be forever missed by her sons Brendan and Kevin, daughter Sonia, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sister, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence where you are welcome to pay your respects. Family time please from 11pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Removal on Sunday morning at 10.45am to St Mura's Church, Fahan for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard. 

Leo Bonner, Belcruit and Doochary

The sudden death has taken place of Leo Bonner, Belcruit  and Doochary.

His is predeseased by his mother Bella and father Leo.

His remains will repose in Mc Glynn's Funeral Home Dungloe on Saturday from 4pm until Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Sunday morning at 9.30am for Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, Kincasslagh at 10am followed by burial in Belcruit cemetery.

Bríd Boyle, Mullaghuff

The death has taken place at the age of 94, or Bríd Boyle, Mullaghduff, Kincasslagh. She passed away peacefully in Letterkenny University Hospital. 

She is survived by her son Charlie (Yank), Mullaghduff and daughter Sheila, Derrybeg and her many grandchildren. Bríd is predeceased by her husband Sean and son John, as well as her brother Hughie and sisters Peggy, Kitty and Sadie.

Wake at her home in Mullaghduff (F94 E5C6) on Saturday from 11am iwith Rosary at 8pm. House private from 9pm Saturday and on the morning of the Funeral.

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm in Star of the Sea Church, Annagry with burial afterwards in the new graveyard.

Mervyn Brown, Letterkenny, Donegal Town and Dublin

The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Mervyn Brown, 'Lugano', Bogay, Letterkenny formerly Glenageary, Dublin and Donegal Town.

Dearly loved husband and best friend of Joan, Mervyn will be sadly missed by his family, many friends and neighbours.

His remains are reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny (F92 XE35) from 3.30pm to 5.30pm on Saturday, concluding with removal to St Paul’s Church Ramelton (F92 VW22) for Reception at 6pm, reposing overnight.

Service of Thanksgiving takes place at 2pm on Sunday, followed by private cremation. At Mervyn’s request, mourners are asked to wear bright colours.

Sheila Muldoon, Tyrone and Donegal

The death has taken place peacefully at Melmount Manor, of Sheila Muldoon, née Mc Alinden, Gortin, Tyrone and formerly of Donegal.

Beloved wife of the late Sean and devoted mother of Brian (Imelda), Gerry (Ann), Peter (Sue), Jojo (Bruce), Conor (Stephanie), Declan (Sarita) and the late Anne (Tommy). Dear sister of Anne and the late Joseph and twins Philip and Noel who died in infancy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing sons, daughter, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and entire family circle.

Reposal of Sheila’s remains continues at her late residence, 7 Culvacullion Road Gortin BT79 8NJ on Saturday from 12 noon until 10pm.

Funeral from there on Sunday December at 11.15am going to St Patrick’s Church Gortin for 12 noon Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Evelyn Byrne, Meath, Clare and Glencolmcille

The death has taken place of Evelyn Byrne, née Lynch, Slane, Meath and formerly of Glencolmcille and Ogonnoloe, Killaloe, County Clare.

Predeceased by her husband Michael and her twin brother Michael, Evelyn will be dearly missed by her son Stephen, daughter-in-law Síobhan, grandchildren Cillian and Kelly, sister Dympna, brother Brendan, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, friends in Slane and friends/relatives in Donegal.

The peaceful death has taken place at her home of Anna Clafferty, née O'Donnell, Cleagh, Clonmany.

Predeceased by her loving husband Neil, and much loved mother of Patrick, Hugh, Anastasia and Mary. Anna will be sorely missed by her brother Charlie and her sisters Nellie and Stasia and deeply regretted by her grandchildren George, Daniel and Angelo, her daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Beloved wife of Dessie Kelly, much loved mother of Mary (Gerard Forde), Elaine (Julian Maguire), Linda (Brendan Doherty), Yvonne MacBride, Frankie and Jen, Damien and Eimer, Antoinette (John Clifford). Predeceased by her grandson Liam (Boston USA), son-in-law Danny MacBride and her sister Breid Duffy.

Tim McCafferty, Ballyshannon and Fermanagh

The death has occurred of Tim McCafferty, 616 Loughshore Road, Corry, Belleek, County Fermanagh BT93 3DE and formerly of Lissahully, Ballyshannon. He passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham surrounded by his loving family on November 18. 

Deeply loved and sadly missed by his wife Marie, children Una (John), Gloria (Christopher), Gemma (Martin), Timothy (Laura), Ursula (Anthony), Matthew (Nessa); grandchildren Darragh, Jack, Mischa, Bronagh, Conor, Matthew, James, Sarah, Eoin, Ruairi, Cormac, Emmett, Aoife and is predeceased by baby Jonathan. Tim is also deeply regretted by his brothers Sean, Michael, Jim and Harry.

His remains will arrive in St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon, on Saturday for 11am Funeral Mass followed by interment in the Abbey Cemetery, Ballyshannon.

The death has taken place of Anne Reardon, née Lynch, Ballycrehane, Aherlow, Tipperary and formerly of  Glasnevin, Dublin and Clonmany. Anne passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and her devoted twin sister at Cluain Arann Community Nursing Home, Tipperary.

Beloved wife of Liam (William) and much loved mother of John, Declan, Billy and Evelyn. Eileen Clancy, Dublin and Donegal

The death has taken place peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital, of Eileen Clancy, née Cullen, Coolock and formerly of Donegal.

Beloved wife of the late Patrick (Paddy) and loving mother of Kevin, Rachel, Mark, Stephen and Tanya. Very sadly missed by her sons and daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Chloe, Andrew, Cillian, Dani, Darci, Cúan, brothers Pat, Christopher and sister Dorothy, sister-in-law Theresa, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of St Joseph the Artisan, Greencastle Road, Bonnybrook arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium at 12.30pm.
