Frank McGlynn will be Glenfin player-manager for the 2025 season
CLG Ghleann Fhinne have appointed All-Ireland winner Frank McGlynn as their seniors' player-manager for the 2025 season.
McGlynn played inter-county football for Donegal from 2006 until 2019, winning five Ulster SFC crowns as well as Sam Maguire in 2012. That year, he was nominated for GAA Player of the Year with teammates Colm McFadden and eventual winner Karl Lacey.

"We welcome the appointment of Frank McGlynn as Senior Team Manager for 2025," the club posted. "We wish Frank, his backroom team, and all our players the very best of luck in 2025. The appointment follows the recent departure of Frank Ward from his managerial role and we would like to thank Frank for his hard work, dedication and professionalism shown throughout this past year."
McGlynn is the principal of Dooish National School and had previously been the principal of Drumkeen National School. In 2024, Glenfin maintained their Donegal SFC status with a relegation play-off semi-final win over St Naul's and are currently in Division 1 of the All-County Football League.
