Donegal pair out of Forza Irish Badminton Open

Sam and Chloe Magee are out of the FZ Forza Irish Badminton Open following their defeatin the second round of the Mixed Doubles on Thursday afternoon .

The Donegal pair were beaten 21-19, 23-21 by Denmark's Mikkel Mikkelsen and Mai Surrow.

Earlier on Thursday, they'd come through their first round match against Scotland's Martin Campbell and Julie MacPherson 21-11, 21-18.

Rachael Darragh, partnering Paul Reynolds, lost out on Wednesday in the Mixed Doubles against Denmark's Lasse Molhede and Ann Katrine Hansen 21-13, 22-20.

The tournament at Dublin's new National Indoor Arena until Saturday.
