The new stand was populated in Bundoran as the home side were way too strong for Four Masters in the opening game of the league this evening.
Bundoran 4-14
Fou Masters 0-7
After was a pretty even first half, Bundoran pulled right away in the second with the breeze at their backs.
The sides were level at 0-3 each after 16 minutes, Darren Doherty, Kevin McBrearty and Conor McMonagle for Four Masters with Jamie Brennan, Diarmuid Spratt and Gary Clancy for Bundoran.
The first big turning point came on 18 minutes when Alan Russell went for goal and the ball managed to end in the net, under 'keeper Martin Cassidy.
By half-time the lead was 1-5 to 0-4, but nobody expected the Four Masters collapse that came in the second period.
Bundoran had the first three points of the second half, all from placed balls before Kevin McBrearty pulled a point back from a free.
The second Bundoran goal was a little fortunate, although it was a great move with Niall Carr going for a fisted point, but the ball came back off the crossbar for Alan Russell to first time home.
Cian McEniff had what a good point chalked off before Jamie Brennan beat Diarmuid Spratt to the ball to slot home from close range after a great break from Paul Brennan.
Niall Carr added the fourth goal before the end after Cassidy made a great save from Gary Clancy.
But overall, Bundoran were rampant in the second half - and this without big Ciaran McCaughey and the Keaneys.
On the basis of the second half, Kevin Lyons and Four Masters could find life difficult in the second division.
