Four Masters Family Fun Day
Tir Conaill Park 3pm to 5pm. All welcome. Egg and Spoon Races, 3 Legged Race, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Sponge Throw, Tug O'War, Shooting Competition, Activities for Toddlers, BBQ, Parent and Children Football Game and other events.
Commemorating Eamonn Ceannt, Ballybofey
The Balor, Ballybofey hosts Comóradh Eamonn Ceannt, at 8pm. It’s a concert of master uileann pipers commemorating the 1916 Easter Rising leader and signatory of the Proclamation of Independence at 8pm.
Elvis event Stepping Stone, Dungloe
Join Elvis Rocking in the Hills of Donegal Fan Club at The Stepping Stone, Dungloe, for a great night of Elvis music. Pete Storm from London will be performing his tribute to the King of “Rock ‘n’ Roll”. This event will benefit the special class room in Dungloe National School for children with severe and profound disabilities. Auditions for Peter Pan at An Grianán Theatre Letterkenny, from 2.30pm – 5pm at An Grianán. Arrive close to 2pm to fill out an information sheet prior to the audition. The audition will take the form of a group workshop and the team are seeking proficiency in acting, movement, singing and dance.
Connect Mental Health launch, Ballyshannon
This year’s Connect Mental Health event will be launched in the Day Centre, Ballyshannon, where details of this year’s activities will be announced. The launch will take place during a fundraising cake sale/coffee morning which takes place from 10 am to 4pm. All are welcome to attend and support an extremely important initiative for the young people of South Donegal.
Ballyshannon "Men's Shed" Open Day
All welcome to attend at: ETB Building (Old Technical School), College Street, Ballyshannon. Hours 9am to 1pm, Light refreshments will be served. Please park in St Patrick's Church Parking lot.
End of Season Fly Fishing Competition
Kinlough & District Anglers End of Season Fly Fishing Competition at Breffni Pier 11am – 5pm. Barbecue afterwards (everybody welcome). The proceeds of the competition will be donated to charity.
Glenade North West Hospice Coffee Morning
Coffee Morning takes place in Glenade, after 9.30 a.m. Mass.
Cutting the Corn, Creeslough
The annual Cutting the Corn, threshing and ploughing charity day takes place at McCarry’s Bar, Kildarragh. Proceeds are in aid of Glassan N.S.
Tea Party in Letterkenny
Tesco Letterkenny host a “Community-Tea Party” between 12 noon and 4pm in store to celebrate their donating over €16,000 to local charities and good causes around the county.

Duck Race & BBQ, Rossinver
The annual Duck Race and BBQ at Gilbrides, Rossinver to help raise some money to finish upstairs in the community centre. Starts at 2pm.

Raphoe Women’s Group

Fundraising Dance Cliffoney
There will be a Fundraising Dance in Cliffoney Hall from 10pm to 1pm. Music by Brendan and Pat Magee. All proceeds going to Cardiac Services, Sligo University Hospital.

The Johnny Doherty festival opens on Friday 23rd September. Opening Concert @ 8.00pm.
