Mass for Expectant Families
The annual Mass For Expectant Families will take place in St. Eunan’s Cathedral on Thursday, 12th September at 7.30pm. The celebrant will be Bishop Philip Boyce. There will be a blessing for the family awaiting new life, a special blessing for each mother and a small gift for each family. Everyone is welcome.
HSE Retired Group
The next meeting will be held in the Mount Errigal Hotel on Friday, 13th September at 6.30pm (Not on the first Thursday as usual).
With our Choirs resuming again after the Summer break, it’s a good opportunity to invite new members to join one of our four choirs in the Cathedral. The Cathedral Choir practice on a Wednesday evening and sings at the midday Mass on Sundays and other occasions. The Folk Choir sing at the 6.30 pm Mass on Sunday evenings. The Irish Choir sing on the first Sunday of the month at the 10am Mass. The Children’s Choir sing on the second Sunday of the month (Family Mass) at the 10am Mass. CDP Courses and Classes
Letterkenny Community Development Project will soon be starting up their Adult/Community Education classes/courses. Names are now being taken for the autumn courses which are as follows: Cookery, Basic DIY, Machine Sewing. Courses will begin in early October and are part funded by the ETB (formerly VEC). St. Eunan’s GAA Club
Well done to the U15 Boys team that captured the Ulster Óg Sport Gael title in Glen, Derry on Saturday. They defeated St Brigids (Antrim), Saul (Down) and Erin Gaels (Fermanagh) before defeating Clann Eireann (Armagh) 2-06 to 1-04 in the final. They are the first Donegal team ever to win the title. The U14 girls advanced to their county final after a good win over N. Mhuire in Dunfanaghy on Thursday night.
The U13 Boys Div. 1 footballers staged a late comeback to stun Buncrana in their league match. They are at home again next week to N. Padraig, Muff. The Div. 2 team beat Gaoth Dobhair last week and travelled to Fanad this week and are also at home next week against Milford.
Tickets are now on sale for our All-Ireland Football final tickets draw. Tickets are €5 each or 3 for €10 and are available from most club members.
The Wednesday Bridge began last night, Wednesday, Sept. 11th at 7.30pm, and a class for New Beginners starts on Wednesday, 18th September at 7.30pm in the Mount Errigal Hotel.
Active Retirement Association
LARA will meet this Thursday, 12th September in the Pastoral Centre at 2.30pm. All members welcome.
Water Safety Classes
Irish Water Safety Classes will take place in the Aura Leisure Centre, Letterkenny. Registration from 6pm to 7pm on Sunday, 15th September. Classes will begin on Sunday, 22nd September at 6pm. Phone Mary on 086-3444976 for information.
The North Donegal Regional Pioneer Meeting will take place in the meeting room of the Church of the Irish Martyrs on Wednesday, 18th September at 8.30pm. All centres in the region are requested to be represented.
Young At Heart outing later this month
An outing for the Young At Heart Club members will take place on 24th, 25th and 26th September.

The Annual North Donegal Regional Pioneer Dinner Dance will take place this year in The Lagoon, Termon on Friday, 18th October.
Tickets will be on sale throughout the region in the very near future. This year’s event will be attended by the Nation President of the Association, Robert Shannon.

Mini Mozarts Music for Kids
Letterkenny Regional Cultural Centre will hold “Mini Mozarts”, a series of music lessons where children enjoy music making while learning about the rudiments of music. Are you aged between 13-18 and interested in improving your communication skills? Well now is the perfect time to get involved in Junior Toastmasters. We will hold an information evening in the Mt. Errigal Hotel this Sundat, Sept. 15th at 5pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and why not bring a friend?! The club is open to secondary school students. Letterkenny Art Group
The Art Group will commence a 10-week Course of Oil, Watercolour and Acrylic classes on Thursday, September 19th in Loreto Convent, Letterkenny from 7.30pm. New to the group this year are Beginners classes and FETAC Level 5 (Painting).

Munster, Ireland and Lions star Paul O’Connell will attend Letterkenny Rugby club’s annual dinner dance on Friday, September 20th in the Mount Errigal Hotel. Tickets are €50 or €400 for a table of ten.
