Croíbhriste ina dhiaidh tá a chéile Lori, a chlann Michael (Brandi) agus Moya (Leo) agus a gharchlann,Wyatt agus Olive. Leasmhac ionúin do Bhrendan Kearney, deartháir ionúin Mháire, Chonaill, Lillis, Chlíona agus Mhéabh, agus an duine ab óige den teaghlach, tá siad uilig á chronú go mór. Ar shiúl roimhe ar Shlí na Fírinne tá a athair Lillis agus a mháthair Bernie; athair agus máthair Lori, Arnie agus Sue; agus a dheirfiúr chéile ionúin Mary O’Leary. Fear mór cuideachta a bhí i bPól agus tá scaifte mór gaolta eile agus cairde go buartha ina dhiaidh fosta. 

Ceiliúrfaidh an tAthair Donnchadh Ó Baoill, SP Ghort A’Choirce, íobairt naofa an Aifrinn i gcuimhne ar Phól ar an tSatharn 8 Samhain 2025, i dTeach Pobail Chríost Rí ag 1.00p.m. Tá an teaghlach buíoch d’achan duine a rinne comhbhrón leo faoi bhás Phóil roimhe seo.

Paul O’Leary, from Gortahork, Co. Donegal, died on September 3 at his home in New Jersey, USA.

Heartbroken are his wife, Lori, his children Michael (Brandi), and Moya (Leo), and his grandchildren, Wyatt and Olive. Beloved stepson of Brendan Kearney, much loved brother of Máire, Conal, Lillis, Clíona and Méabh, he was the youngest of his siblings, all of whom miss him greatly. Gone before him on the Way of Truth are his parents Lillis and Bernie; his wife Lori’s parents, Arnie and Sue; and his beloved sister-in-law, Mary O’Leary. Gregarious and fun-loving, Paul is also mourned by a wide circle of extended family and friends.

Fr Donnchadh Ó Baoill, PP Gortahork, will celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in Paul’s memory on Saturday November 8 in the Church of Christ the King at 1pm. Mass will be live streamed on the parish webcam

Margaret Gallagher, Ballyshannon

The death has taken place of Margaret Gallagher, Coolcholly, Ballyshannon, County Donegal and late of Inbhera na Mara residential unit, Bundoran. She passed away peacefully in the exceptional and wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Inbhera na Mara, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Tommy and Mary Gallagher, her brother Eamon and wife Margo, sister Mary Jo, her aunts Lizzie, Bridget and Eileen, uncles Packie and Hugh. He is survived by her brother Thomas, nieces, nephews, brother in law John and friends.

Funeral arrangements to be announced later.

Micheal Walls (Junior), Rossnowlagh

The death has taken place of Michael Walls (Junior), Rossnowlagh.

Rosemary Brennan, Wicklow and Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Rosemary Brennan, née O'Reilly, Glenview Park, Kilpedder, Greystones, Wicklow and formerly of The Burma, Letterkenny, County Donegal. Rosemary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin.

Rosemary beloved wife of Fred and loving mother of Darina, Lloyd, Michael, Orlagh, and Eóin, adored sister of Pauric, Gerard and the late Freda and Teresa, proud aunt of the late Billy, treasured mother-in-law of Ian, James, Aisling, Emma and the late Báirbre. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, cherished grandchildren Lara, Aoife, Josh, Noah, Dylan, Rhys, Eve, Emily, Lucy, Anna, Caoimhe, Luke, Ella and her mum Caitriona, brothers, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Sr Sinéad (Sheena) Beirne, Dublin and Stranorlar

The death has occurred, unexpectedly, of Sr Sinéad Beirne (Sheena) at St Louis Convent, Rathmines, Dublin; late of Stranorlar.

Sinéad is predeceased by her parents Jim and Maud, her sisters Maura, Eileen, Lily and Peg, her brother-in-law George and sister-in-law Claire. She is sadly missed by her brothers Vincent and Séamus, her sister-in-law Eithne, her niece, nephews, extended family, her St Louis Community and many friends.

Funeral arrangements to follow.

Phonsie McDaid, Laghey

The death has occurred of Phonsie McDaid, Tullygallan, Laghey, County Donegal, F94 X984. He passed away peacefully at Aras Mhic Suibhne, Mullinasole, Laghey surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Kathleen, his brothers Charles, Dessie (Alice), he is sadly missed by his loving wife Bridie and his children Lorraine (Johnny), Paul (Eadaoin), Angela (Neil), Adrian (Ruth), Mark (Martina), Brian and all his Grandchildren, his sisters Maura McGowan (Frank RIP) and Margaret Colton (Jim RIP) brother Donal (Nora), his brothers and sister in laws, neighbours and many friends. Devoted husband, loving father, and beloved grandfather.

His remains are reposing at his residence on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2pm to 9pm. House private on the morning of the funeral please.

Removal to St Patrick's Church, Donegal Town, on Thursday for 12pm funeral Mass followed by burial afterwards at St Agatha's Cemetery, Clar. Mass can be viewed on the parish webcam

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Donegal Hospital patient Comfort Fund care of John McGee & Sons Funeral directors or any family member.

Helen Kathleen McMullin, Donegal Town

The death has taken place in Sligo University Hospital of Helen JKathleen McMullin, Main Street, Donegal Town. 

Predeceased by her parents Timothy and Sarah McMullin, sister Margaret (April 2025) and brother Frankie, Helen will be always remembered by her sister Mary (Larry Houston) and brother Jim, sister-in-law Susanna, nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and former colleagues.

Her remains reposed overnight at St Patrick's Church.

requiem Mass at 11am Tuesday with burial afterwards at St Agatha’s Church Clar.
