Flight drifts from runway on Wednesday landing

Stobart Air has confirmed that an Aer Lingus Regional flight from Dublin to Donegal drifted briefly from the runway on landing Wednesday evening at Donegal Airport at Carrickfinn.

All 17 passengers disembarked the aircraft safely, the airline said in a statement.

“Due to strong cross wind gusts, the aircraft momentarily drifted from the runway before being immediately redirected back on to the paved surface and making its way as normal to its parking position.”
