Convoy Arsenal will play in the Brian Mc Cormick Premier Division of the Donegal Junior League next season after they defeated Donegal Town in their 2nd/3rd place play-off at the Moss on Sunday afternoon.
They suffered an early setback when Conor McMonagle put Donegal ahead from the penalty spot after thirty minutes.
This game was evenly contested throughout with both teams creating chances without making the most of their opportunities.
James Kee got Convoy's equaliser midway through the second half. Neither side could find a winner inside 90 minutes so the contest went to extra-time.
Lee Guthrie got the all important deciding goal in added on time but Donegal could not find a reply.
